28th Jun 2011

Do you have a few hours a week to spare? Are you friendly, enthusiastic and keen to learn new skills? If so, the Barnardo's Newtown store team needs you! The shop is looking to increase its number of volunteers so that the store is better able to contribute to the work Barnardo's undertakes with disadvantaged children, young people and families across the UK. Our volunteers undertake a wide range of activities, including serving customers on the till, keeping the shop floor fully stocked and looking great, sorting and pricing incoming donations and providing great customer service. All our volunteers will be fully trained so no experience is necessary, we just look for a willingness to learn and strong team spirit! We are very flexible so you can volunteer the hours and days that suit you.

If you are interested in volunteering, please pop into the store (7c Bears Lane, SY16 2QZ) to chat to the store manager about the opportunities they have. Alternatively give us a call on 01686 622 305.
